Dr. C. de Cerreño, Deputy Chief Operating Officer for New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority, is an experienced transportation professional with extensive knowledge in policy, research, project management, and operations. She is the project lead for the Central Business District Tolling Program (“congestion pricing”) and is also overseeing MTA’s new fare payment system team, which is designing, developing, and implementing OMNY.

With experience that spans government, non-profit, and academe, Dr. C. de Cerreño has also held key positions at MTA Bridges & Tunnels, the Port Authority of NY & NJ, the NYU Wagner Rudin Center for Transportation Policy & Management, the National Association of City Transportation Officials, and the New York Academy of Sciences.
