WSDOT awards Neology RFID contract

WSDOT awards Neology RFID contract
Global transportation technology company Neology has been awarded Washington State Department of Transportation’s (WSDOT) two-year RFID tolling technology transponder and reader procurement contract.

The two-year deal has the option to extend up to an additional six years, with Neology delivering both OmniAir and E-ZPass IAG certified RFID technology.

The company is reportedly the only vendor with a manufacturing facility in the United States and also has a defect rate less than 0.01%.

Neology’s continued investment in its RFID inlay, conveyor, and label packaging technology has increased its manufacturing capacity to more than 90 million units per year.

"Neology Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Bradley H. Feldmann, said: “We are proud to continue providing WSDOT and their end-users with the best tolling hardware on the market.

“Neology is committed to continued innovation in the technology space and look forward to serving WSDOT now and in the future.”
